Veganism, me, you, and the Universe

The world is complex, and veganism has grown both as a social movement and a dietary choice. Veganism is massive a many-sided topic. Animal rights, the environment and health are the key benefits. But how do we link these? When are we harmonious, and when are we conflicted internally and with those around us? As a physician I mostly teach about technical aspects of the vegan diet. But let’s talk about a holistic and long term view about being vegan in a troubled world. Let’s think about our our own dogmas, and of how we can become stronger in our own understanding, mental state, and communication. This will be a great talk to have both dedicated activists, chefs, businesses, and the general public together in one space!
