Families with kids will enjoy the Kids Cookery Classes at VegfestUK London, with a series of activities for the little ones to learn about making their own healthy food whilst having a great time. Kids under 16 also get free entry to the entire event, thus offering them the opportunity to learn about healthy eating at a young age on a fantastic weekend of celebration for all things vegan.

The kids cookery classes take place on Level 3 of Olympia Central (Olympia Conference Centre) – see floor plan for Level 3 here.

Saturday – Captain James Tea Cook, Pirate of The Carob Bean

Games including rainbow twister & rainbow quoits (ring toss), Veg-In-A-Bucket and the VegfestUK fruit Smoothie/Blenda bike available all day!

The famous famous vegan pirate Captain James Tea Cook Pirate of the Carob Bean and his Parrot have appeared from one end of the UK (Brighton) to the other (Paisley) in 2019. He offers scallywags and rapscallions his easy-peasy ship’s cook’s healthy cooking secrets with some dancing and magic thrown in.

Also featuring the VegfestUK blendabike/smoothie bike. Appearing on the hour every hour with different shows.

Note: The Kids Cookery Classes area is not a creche. Children should be accompanied by a responsible adult. Wheat free options available. Autism spectrum-friendly but please discuss sensory issues with us – the area can get quite loud so consider headphones, and trying different colours is very much at the heart of our shows so children may struggle with some performances if they only eat beige.

  • Eat wholefoods not half-foods
